KOFI ANNAN

Kofi Annan,the seventh Secretary-General of UN, was awarded with the nobel price in 2000 for the following cases:

- - because he has given priority to keep and improve the international peace, the rules of work and the human rights;

- because he has undertaken a battle against the HIV/AIDS and the international terrorism;

- because he has helped the return of the people and the international staff of Iraq after it invaded the Kuwait;

- because he has lead the negotiation with Baghdad to sold the oil for humanitarian relief;

- because he has intervened in many international affairs such as:the representation of the ex Yugoslavia, the promotion of a civialian govenrnement in Nigeria and the removal of Israeli troops from Lebanon,the attempt of the resolution of the problem between Palestinian and Israeli.
